DIVINE LOVE

A part of those eccentric caricatures amidst the blue skies
or you're the creator of this magnificent sight.

Embracing you as my religion, my highest form of prayer
brought me far ahead of this material world and I didn't care.

Our proximities were as subtle and alluring as a butterfly
which could just be felt but if touched, it fades away the harder you try.

Enlightened the world being a wax candle
yet burnt myself like a pack of dry leaves facing the disdainful sun.

Your larger than life shadows, were near yet so far
Even with those eluding heavens, it was at par.

Being lost and dejected, yet braving the enormity
Your gloomy eyes have been long waiting to erupt all its salinity.
