Prayers Unanswered

The world around has embraced an enduring frosty silence
Least quantum of solace is yet to find its presence

An aimless fragment of time is here to stay
Lips regret for the words it never wanted to say

Distancing us from our own self and our life
When a robust faith is torn by strife

Why should eyes nurture such unrealistic dreams?
Even when the destiny ceases to be trapped in the palm line extremes

Prayers stuck within, make way from the boundaries of the inner core
Only to remain unanswered and never awakened any more.

My body gasps for my own breath; heart no longer succumbs to pain
A disoriented reflection behind, yearns to be embraced again

Standing isolated, what keeps me engrossed is something quite obscure
That the only one accompanying me, those unwavering memories galore.

In order to be heard, resurging prayers approach the blue extremity
Only to come back and die a death of mourn and pity
